Description
Summertime Fun:
Fantastic Lake & Mountain View of the Rockies. Dock your boat, water ski, tube,swim, fish in the cleanest lake in the Kootneys. Bike,walk,skateboard round the Lake on the Lions walking trail. Enjoy sunning yourself on our private beach or relax on our manicured lawn, how about a drink on the covered deck or patio. Golf at the numerous golf course's in the area. Wonderful area for bird watching, Bald Eagles, Ophsrays, Herrons and many more . Wasa's bird santuary is home to over 300 different species of birds. Horse back riding and white water rafting is close by. So are natural hot springs. If you love to star gaze this is the place to be. The black velvet skies make it ideal for the star gazer with frequent sightings of falling stars and comits. Quad on the neumerous logging trail. B.B.Q or site round the camp fire will take all your cares of city life away. Relax and unwind.
Winter Fun:
Down hill skiing at Kimberly ski resort, Cross country skiing in and arround Wasa is great due to all the old logging trails. Ice fish, ice skate on the lake. Good shopping in Cranbrook. Want to eat out try Cranbook and Kimberly just twenty minute drive. Don't forget the hot springs wither Banff,Fairmont or the natural ones of Lussier or White Swan. Star gazing, camp fires or snuggle down by the fire after a day on the slopes.
